Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, with acute rehab experience preferred and a willingness to float, using Epic EMR.
Details
- Outpatient PT unit within an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Floating between facilities within the state is expected and required
- Acute rehab float coverage may be required with appropriate orientation
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager's discretion
- Charting is done in Epic (experience required)
- Free on-site parking available
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Acute rehab experience strongly preferred; willingness to float to acute rehab with orientation considered
- Active PT license required (pending license not accepted)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may be denied
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities risk assignment termination
- 13-week contract
