Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a medical center in Palmer, AK, with experience across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

• Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an acute care medical center in Palmer, AK
• Treats adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Floating to other units is required
• No on-call requirement
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential accepted
• Minimum 2–5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Black scrubs required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 2 weeks for the duration of the contract, with no RTO permitted on July 4th
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week per request
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
