Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of acute rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Sacramento, CA.

Details

  • 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation (IRF) hospital setting
  • Physical Therapy department serving patients recovering from TBI, SCI, orthopedic trauma, stroke, neurological conditions, amputation, and spinal cord injury
  • Patient caseload of 4–5 patients per day with approximately 6 hours of treatment time daily
  • Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekend rotation every 2–3 weekends
  • No call or float requirements
  • EMR: Cerner

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation or acute care required
  • Active California PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • AHA certifications required
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provides intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation tailored to individual recovery needs across a range of neurological, traumatic, and orthopedic diagnoses
  • No scrub color requirement
  • Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
