Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of acute rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Sacramento, CA.
Details
- 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation (IRF) hospital setting
- Physical Therapy department serving patients recovering from TBI, SCI, orthopedic trauma, stroke, neurological conditions, amputation, and spinal cord injury
- Patient caseload of 4–5 patients per day with approximately 6 hours of treatment time daily
- Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend rotation every 2–3 weekends
- No call or float requirements
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation or acute care required
- Active California PT license required (license required if applicable)
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation tailored to individual recovery needs across a range of neurological, traumatic, and orthopedic diagnoses
- No scrub color requirement
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
