Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outreach therapy clinic position in Devils Lake, ND, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting with outreach therapy focus
- Serves both inpatient and outpatient patient populations
- Full-time schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OT license for the state of North Dakota (license required if applicable)
- OTR/L certification through NBCOT required
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Inpatient and/or outpatient setting experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients across relevant diagnoses and age groups in compliance with licensure standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on patient goal development, care planning, and discharge planning
- Provide patient and family education on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
- Perform pain assessments and monitor program effectiveness and outcomes
- Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in accordance with state licensure and care delivery standards
- Document all required patient information including precautions, orders, and plan of care per chart and review standards
