Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outreach therapy clinic position in Devils Lake, ND, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Outpatient clinic setting with outreach therapy focus
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient patient populations
• Full-time schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OT license for the state of North Dakota (license required if applicable)
• OTR/L certification through NBCOT required
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
• Inpatient and/or outpatient setting experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required

Additional Information

• Evaluate and treat patients across relevant diagnoses and age groups in compliance with licensure standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on patient goal development, care planning, and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family education on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
• Perform pain assessments and monitor program effectiveness and outcomes
• Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in accordance with state licensure and care delivery standards
• Document all required patient information including precautions, orders, and plan of care per chart and review standards
