Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room Circulator position in Granbury, TX, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and availability for on-call shifts Tuesday through Friday.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 6 OR suites and 2 Endoscopy suites
- Surgical specialties include orthopedics, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotic surgery (da Vinci Xi), and endoscopy
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- On-call required approximately 5–7 days per month
- No block scheduling, no floating
- Paper charting used in this unit
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license with TX privileges required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license required
Additional Information
- Role functions as an OR Circulator across multiple surgical specialties
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration, with a maximum of 3 days RTO
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
