Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Echo Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Port Charlotte, FL, requiring at least 1 year of recent echo tech experience and active credentials.
Details
- Hospital-based Echo Tech position within the Radiology department
- Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekend schedule, working every other weekend
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an Echo Technologist
- Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of active experience within the last 6 months in this role
- Active license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- Two professional references required (as this position is in Florida)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Travelers are expected to work holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
- Scrub color for Radiology staff is black
