Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position at a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center in St. Joseph, MO, working 3x12 night shifts with Epic charting.
Details
- Step-down unit in a large hospital with 352 certified beds, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Stroke Center designation
- Serves as the only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha, supporting a wide regional patient population
- 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Charting performed in Epic
- Free on-site parking available
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or Compact RN license required; pending license is acceptable but must be in hand prior to start
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of step-down or similar RN experience required
- BSN preferred
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
- Must provide copies of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
- Epic EMR experience is advantageous given its use on the unit
