Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 10-week travel contract in Texas, requiring at least 1-2 years of ICU experience and current TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 10-bed ICU unit within a hospital setting
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — candidates living in the following counties are not accepted: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and is not permitted during the first week of orientation
