Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for block scheduling on night shifts.

Details

• Work setting is a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Emergency Department (ED) unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is required
• Weekends required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units within this assignment
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided for ED staff (any color)

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within a comparable specialty or setting within the last 3 years
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; scheduling requests should be communicated prior to submission
• No parking fee at this facility
