Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for block scheduling on night shifts.
Details
- Work setting is a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Emergency Department (ED) unit
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Block scheduling is required
- Weekends required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Charting system: Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs are provided for ED staff (any color)
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within a comparable specialty or setting within the last 3 years
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; scheduling requests should be communicated prior to submission
- No parking fee at this facility
