Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/PCU RN for a Progressive Care Unit position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIH, and LA Fire Card certifications with night shift availability.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within skillset, including between all facilities within the state
• No on-call requirements
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and LA Fire Card
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• ICU background required for PCU placement
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
