Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float pool ICU position requiring Epic proficiency and the ability to rotate across multiple critical care and intermediate care units.

Details

• Float pool position rotating across multiple ICU and intermediate care units, including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders
• Night shift, 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required; Memorial Day and 4th of July are not eligible for time off
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Floating to various units is required per the facility's float policy

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; VA license pending accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Hands-on Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in ICU and/or intermediate care settings required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Any known background issues should be disclosed prior to consideration
