Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with a minimum of 1 year of SNF experience for a part-time travel contract at a skilled nursing facility in Spartanburg, SC.
Details
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, structured as two 8-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift per week
- Day shift hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling
- Daily patient load of 5 to 9 patients
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience, with 2+ years preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Valid and unrestricted SLP license — pending license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests made after submission will not be honored
- Attendance policy is in effect: missing more than two shifts during the contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
- A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed — only one attempt is allowed
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
