Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring a KS or compact license and at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
- Floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license (both KS and MO licenses, or compact equivalent, must be in hand at time of consideration)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/specialty experience required
- Must have at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no employment gap greater than 90 days in the past year
- 2 professional references required: at least one must be supervisor-level or above; the second may be a charge RN; all references must be from someone who has worked with the candidate within the past year
- SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed
- Compliance modules are required and average 10–15 hours total, completed prior to start
- Travel partners are not accepted for this position
