Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring CV/vascular circulator experience and Cerner/PowerChart proficiency in a hospital setting that accepts locals at the same rate.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Cases include cardiovascular, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, GYN, general surgery, and some robotics
• Staggered 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM and 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, alternated throughout the schedule
• On-call and weekend availability required
• Call requirement: 2 48-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts per 6-week cycle; weeknight call runs M–F 7 PM–7 AM, weekend call runs Saturday 7 AM through Monday 7 AM
• Floating may be required from the Mainland campus to the City campus, with travelers floated first
• Charting performed in Cerner and PowerChart
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Cardiovascular (CV) experience required
• Demonstrated experience circulating in vascular and hybrid OR cases required
• Cerner and PowerChart experience required
• Scrub experience preferred

Additional Information

• Primarily responsible for circulating in cardiovascular, vascular, hybrid, and general OR cases
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of consideration
