Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Charge Nurse role in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Details

  • Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) setting
  • Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

  • Active State of Maine or Compact RN license, currently in hand
  • Current BLS/BCLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
  • Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required
  • DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Serves as Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and unit resource, with administrative backup support in the Director's absence
  • Coordinates and directs total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Participates in patient/resident and family education and works collaboratively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with facility policies
