Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Oncology assignment in Wheeling, WV, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a WV or compact RN license.

• 5th Floor Med/Surg Oncology unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Charting system: Allscripts

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for consideration
• Any licensing disciplinary actions (hits) must be disclosed upfront

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a minimum 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for more than one cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
• Two references are required for consideration: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference (e.g., Charge RN)
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
