Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based diagnostic radiology department, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology department in Santa Fe, NM
• Day shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts per week
• On-call and weekend on-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital radiology experience preferred
• ARRT certification (Radiography - R) required
• NM state licensure (RRT by MIRTP NMED) required if applicable
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and PACS system
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures
• Support patient throughput and facilitate efficient patient flow within the department
• Serve as a PACS Superuser, including following downtime procedures and escalating issues to the PACS administrator as needed
• Participate in QA processes and ongoing education related to imaging safety and technical advances
• Flexibility to work other shifts or at other campuses as needed
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a radius rule — local rate eligibility may vary
