Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/Stepdown position requiring prior travel experience, EKG competency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, with weekend scheduling determined by unit operational needs
• Floating required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed (float unit ratios are 1:5 or 1:6)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Maryland (MD) or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown RN experience required
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all employment gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a local rate
