Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a PCU/IMC (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring prior travel experience, PCU/Stepdown experience, and night shift availability.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC/Stepdown) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required, with unit-directed scheduling based on operational needs
• Floating required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed (patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 on float units)
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU, IMC, or Stepdown experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide intermediate care nursing to PCU/IMC patients, including telemetry monitoring and EKG rhythm interpretation
