Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and mandatory Epic proficiency.
Details
- MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in NC or a compact state required
- Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty (as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations) preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Develops and implements individualized nursing care plans based on patient history, diagnostic results, and current condition
- Administers medications and treatments as part of comprehensive patient care
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care plans as needed to meet goals of care
- All RNs must pass an EKG exam (Pass/Fail) during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
