Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Escondido, CA
Details
- 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Specialty unit focused on Physical Therapy
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
- Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday through Thursday schedule preferred; part-time Tuesday through Saturday weekend coverage also noted
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Rehabilitation programs focus on customized, high-intensity therapy tailored to individual patient recovery needs
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible for this position
