Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least one year of IR experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) unit
• Experience in Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR — preference for candidates with experience in at least two of these areas
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK state license or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• BLS (AHA) required upon hire; ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months of hire — all certifications must be from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of IR nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a specialty area following orientation

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, monitoring physiological data, assisting physicians with procedures, and delegating tasks to support staff
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning and discharge education
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to return; contract extensions are limited to one extension (26 weeks total)
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to complete onboarding steps promptly after accepting an offer
