Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation role at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Zanesville, Ohio.

Details

• Inpatient acute care setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Patient population includes orthopedic/joint replacement post-op, neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular (including CABG), vestibular, general surgery, and medically complex/intubated patients in critical care
• Primary patient age group is adult, geriatric, and young adult
• Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Day shift with varied start times; preferred schedule is five 8-hour shifts M-F or Tuesday-Saturday with flexible start/end times (8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30) based on joint replacement surgery coverage needs
• Alternative schedule of four 10-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00–5:30) may be considered
• Expectation of 2+ weekend shift coverages per month when working primarily M-F
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
• Active Ohio PT license required; cannot be in process — license required if applicable
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Familiarity with orthopedics and joint replacement post-operative care preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Treats semi-complex patients with multiple orthopedic and internal injuries in an inpatient acute care environment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission to be honored
