Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient surgical facility in Maryland, requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Outpatient surgical setting with 5 ORs and 4 procedure rooms
- Adult and pediatric patient population across multiple service lines including Orthopedics, EP, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Cataracts, Pain, and Breast Oncology
- Day shift, 8 hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Every 3rd week includes a late week rotation
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Free parking available on site
- Staffing includes 2 Lead Clinical OR RNs and 1 OR Charge RN, with a resource team of 2–3 RNs and 2–3 Surgical Techs to support throughout the day
- Epic EMR used; experience required
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed facility experience)
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
