Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with the ability to both circulate and scrub for a 13-week contract at a community hospital in North Carolina.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Endoscopy
• C-section cases are part of the caseload and require candidate comfort and proficiency
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Monday through Friday, day shift schedule (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
• On-call required 1–2 nights per week and every 5th weekend
• No regularly scheduled weekend shifts
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing
• Comfortable with C-section cases
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• RTO requests are limited to approximately one week for the duration of the contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
