Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of independent experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii requiring an active State of Hawaii license by start date.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department at an acute care hospital in Hilo, Hawaii
- Varied shifts averaging 8 hours, with approximately 3 days of call per month
- Performs general radiographic imaging including fixed DR, fluoroscopy, C-arm, and portable DR studies
- Preferred equipment experience includes Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Philips Fluoro
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Demonstrated proficiency with DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Must be able to function independently without supervision
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols required
- Must have or be assigned a dosimetry badge
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment; this appointment is held at the facility's Employee Health department and attendance is mandatory
- Travelers must arrive on the island the Thursday before a Monday start date to complete the Employee Health clearance appointment on Friday morning
- Candidates who do not currently hold an active State of Hawaii license must apply for one upon acceptance of an offer
