Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State, requiring active WA or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of OR experience.

Details

• Operating room setting requiring both circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating call coverage required as part of the schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA State or multistate compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/CPR (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Experience as both a circulating and scrub nurse preferred
• Previous recovery room (PACU) nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating and/or scrubbing for surgical cases and providing patient and family support throughout the perioperative process
• Participates in 24-hour call coverage rotation
• Applies nursing assessment skills including recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver safe, therapeutically effective care
