Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU position requiring strong PACU and pre/post-operative skills in an outpatient services setting.

Details

• Outpatient services hospital setting covering multiple areas including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
• Floating required throughout the entire Outpatient Services department
• Schedule is either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong PACU and pre/post-operative skills required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include peri-operative patient education and care, nursing assessment, and recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Provides conscious sedation support for special procedures as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
