Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU (NT/SICU) position in California, requiring a minimum of 5 years of acute critical care experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Level II trauma NT/SICU unit in a hospital setting
- Specializes in neuro and trauma patient populations
- 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Procedures and monitoring include ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts with a 0700 start time
- Floating required to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience
- Level II trauma critical care experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Candidate must be a W-2 employee of their staffing agency — 1099 or independent contractor arrangements are not accepted
