Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech First Assist for a 13-week OR assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Operating Room with a dedicated cardiovascular OR unit
• CVOR patient population including cardiac and vascular procedures with high acuity cases
• Strong endovascular experience required, with proficiency across cardiac and vascular case types
• AM shift, 10-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand (for RN candidates)
• Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within a setting of similar acuity, within the last 3 years
• Must be a credentialed CVOR First Assist
• Proficiency ratings of 3 or 4 required for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Strong endovascular (wires) experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if time off does not fall on or near a holiday
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days if the requested time falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
• RTO requests clustered around holidays (e.g., multiple consecutive days during the holiday period) will not be approved and must be spread out
