Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel assignment requiring neuro experience and the ability to float to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Neurological critical care patient population
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Floating required to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Prior neuro experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
