Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Northern California requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

• PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift with variable start times (7:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 AM), 5x8-hour shifts
• Floating required to other facilities within the state, including locations in Petaluma and Santa Rosa
• On-call shifts required as part of the schedule
• PreAdmission phone calls for surgery may be included in responsibilities
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients and assist with pre-admission phone calls for surgery
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
