Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington state.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
- Cath Lab unit performing a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Procedures include diagnostic cath, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, CTO), Structural Heart (TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Watchman), and Electrophysiology (EPS, AFib/Flutter ablations, BiV and pacemaker implants)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
- Active WA Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiac Interventional Sonographer (CIS) license required; license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Pending licenses will not be accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Rhythm interpretation experience is preferred
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment
