Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring prior travel experience and multi-specialty surgical proficiency including Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Specialties covered include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and Urology
- Preferred experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmologic cases
- Charting performed in Epic (experience preferred)
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (6:30–23:00) on Saturday and Sunday, plus 3x12-hour shifts (6:30–18:30) or day shifts (6:30–15:00) on Monday
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience across multiple OR specialties: Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology required
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
