Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and active Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
- Assignment in the Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call responsibilities included; call shifts are required
- Floating within scope or to like units may be required to meet facility needs
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licensure not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may extend their contract once; after that, a 6-month gap is required before returning
- Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)
- RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per assignment
- Only 1 holiday off can be approved per assignment
- Any called-out shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
