Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and a valid GA or compact RN license.

Details

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• May float to IMCU or CPU as needed
• Holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Cerner/Soarian

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Proficiency with ventilators, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz (SWANZ) catheters
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
• Candidates residing between 31–50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced bill rate
• Minimal to no time off (RTO) is available during the contract
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior travel experience is preferred
