Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for an OR-based position at a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital in Ohio.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting within a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital
• Work performed primarily in the Operating Room (OR) environment
• Procedures include C-arm and O-arm coverage for surgical interventions
• 4x10-hour day shifts with call responsibilities associated with the position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital setting
• Valid ARRT certification and current BLS required
• Proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems required
• Experience with surgical/OR X-ray procedures required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration — at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage in the OR, collaborating closely with surgical and medical teams
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an assignment — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will be mailed a fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 6-month separation
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
