Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in Las Cruces, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 199-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital in Las Cruces, NM
• Facility is a certified Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capabilities and a certified Primary Stroke Center
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while awaiting results but must be supervised during that time
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays
• Las Cruces offers year-round sunshine, proximity to White Sands National Park, Organ Mountains, and over 250 miles of scenic hiking and biking trails
