Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring full L&D and postpartum experience, with night shift availability and key certifications including NRP and AWHONN Intermediate.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Staffed according to AWHONN Staffing Standards, working alongside break RNs and resource RNs
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement, or a minimum of 8 weekend shifts per contract
• Floating may be required, including CPO sitter coverage in-house and to a low-risk family birthing unit at a northern campus (Madras)
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Full L&D and postpartum experience required
• Proof of address required — candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
