Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring strong, recent home health experience and OASIS/Epic proficiency in New Jersey.

Details

• Home health setting serving patients recently discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
• Primary diagnoses include wound care, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and orthopedic cases
• Procedures include wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, and ostomy care
• EMR: Epic (experience required); OASIS documentation experience required
• Day shift, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Productivity expectation is 6 visits per day or equivalent (e.g., admissions count as 2 visits)
• Rotating every 5th weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent home health nursing experience required
• Med-surg skills required
• OASIS and Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration
