Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Stepdown/PCU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be required to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• EMR: Cerner OneChart

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB De-Escalation Training required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU or stepdown unit experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Ceil blue scrubs required
• A copy of your Driver's License, 2 professional references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications and license verification (including Nursys) are required for consideration
• License verification and Nursys verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
