Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ICU position requiring prior travel experience, night shift availability, and active ACLS, BLS, and ENPC or PALS certifications.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital ICU
• May float to the PCU, overflow, and ED hold units as needed, with a maximum patient load of 4 when floating
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and either ENPC or PALS; TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
