Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echocardiography Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week contract in a pediatric cardiac care setting.
Details
- Work in a Heart Station unit at a pediatric specialty hospital facility
- Pediatric patient population with a focus on cardiac sonography
- Day shift, 8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- After-hours call coverage required on a 3-week rotation, covering 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Monday
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR experience required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac sonography experience
- Pediatric scanning experience required
- Pediatric Echocardiography certification preferred, or must have pediatric surgical heart center experience
- Current BLS certification
- License required if applicable
- Must be nicotine free
- At least 1 professional reference within the last year
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- Perform pediatric cardiac sonography studies in a Heart Station setting
- Call rotation covers overnight and weekend hours on a 3-week cycle
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
