Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Statesboro, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 completed travel assignments.

Details

• Emergency Department in a hospital setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Mid-shift schedule: 12:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• No on-call or floating required
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Scrub color: Navy

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training
• TNCC certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• At least 2 previously completed travel assignments required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid driver's license required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days beyond the contract start date

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and delegation skills appropriate to available staff
• One major and one minor holiday may be required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
