Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of experience, an active NJ RN license, and night shift availability with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday requirements.

Details

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a multi-hospital health system
• Travelers may be required to float across up to 5 hospital campuses within their skillset
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Epic charting system used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license (or compact license) required
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, FHM, and NRP
• AWHONN certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing; only 2 attempts are allowed
• Dysrhythmia test must be completed on a PC — iOS devices are not compatible and will result in a failed attempt
• Failure to complete the Dysrhythmia test within the allotted timeframe or two failed attempts will result in contract cancellation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after that point will not be accepted
• Two current professional references are required for consideration
