Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification in X-Ray and MRI for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Details
- Located at a 120-bed acute care hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
- Level III Trauma Center
- MRI department on the first floor of the facility
- Serves a mixed patient population including all age groups across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Equipment includes a GE Voyager MRI system
- EMR is Cerner; PACS is Change (McKesson)
- Schedule is Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with rotating Sundays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
- No call requirements
- No float requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT certification in both X-Ray and MRI required
- Licensed by AZDHS (Arizona Department of Health Services) — license required if applicable
- Associate's degree in Radiology with MRI licensure required
- Ability to perform Breast MRI required
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- This is a newly established MRI unit; candidates with diverse experience are encouraged to apply
- GE MRI system training is preferred
- Acrylic nails and hats are not permitted; any scrub color is acceptable
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
