Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification in X-Ray and MRI for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Located at a 120-bed acute care hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Level III Trauma Center
• MRI department on the first floor of the facility
• Serves a mixed patient population including all age groups across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Equipment includes a GE Voyager MRI system
• EMR is Cerner; PACS is Change (McKesson)
• Schedule is Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with rotating Sundays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
• No call requirements
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT certification in both X-Ray and MRI required
• Licensed by AZDHS (Arizona Department of Health Services) — license required if applicable
• Associate's degree in Radiology with MRI licensure required
• Ability to perform Breast MRI required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• This is a newly established MRI unit; candidates with diverse experience are encouraged to apply
• GE MRI system training is preferred
• Acrylic nails and hats are not permitted; any scrub color is acceptable
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
