Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Florida, requiring a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic.

• CVICU unit within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Mixed ICU serving both cardiac and neurological patient populations
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Floating required to sister facilities within a 20-mile radius (three hospital locations)
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with both cardiac and neurological ICU patients is required
• Proficient Epic experience required (proficiency level 3 or 4)
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
