Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with charge nurse experience preferred.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Weekend availability required
• Floating to other units is required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Willingness to work in a charge nurse capacity is preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
