Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in IR, Cath Lab, or X-ray, including Hybrid/Endovascular OR experience, for a short-term acute care hospital assignment in Missouri.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting in Missouri
- Interventional Radiology unit with potential to float within scope to Cath Lab and X-ray departments
- Patient population spans all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Approximately 10 patient visits per shift
- Charting via Epic (strongly preferred)
- Siemens/vascular equipment experience utilized in this role
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating to sister facilities required
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Tech, Cath Lab Tech, or X-ray Tech
- Experience in a Hybrid/Endovascular OR environment required
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Experience with Siemens vascular equipment required
- Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
- Valid Missouri state license required for consideration; Illinois candidates may be considered with a pending IL license
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Preferred experience includes diagnostic cardiac cath lab, EP, interventional cardiac cath lab, IR, and special procedures
- Navy blue scrubs required
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of BJC facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Standard travelers may work up to 18 months continuously before a 3-month break is required
- Allied and non-clinical travelers may work up to 12 months continuously before a 6-month break in service is required
