Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring 3+ years of experience and Siemens MRI system proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ staffed beds
- MRI department with a focus on diagnostic imaging
- 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday
- 36 hours per week
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Parking available for approximately $125/month
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
- Experience in a large trauma center setting required
- Current ARRT (MR) certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active or pending state license accepted — license required if applicable
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval; block scheduling is not available
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are considered
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as directed by the facility
- Teal scrubs required
